do not take the serial from a user guideNever take the serial number from any printed paperwork or user guides, since this may not match the actual Visteon radio fitted to the car.  Instead, take the serial number from either a label or an engraving on the top or side of your Visteon stereo, to ensure the supplied Visteon radio code is accurate.

Further information on decoding your Visteon car radio.

Using our Visteon stereo decoding system, you are not only saving money, but also time and the hassle which is involved. Most vehicle main dealers require you to book in your vehicle and take the car and proof of ownership along before they apply for your radio code.
Usually the code will be based on your vehicle registration or Chassis number which can mean you are not getting the code for the current unit fitted to the car, especially if the radio has been replaced at any stage in its lifetime.

There are a number of reasons why a radio code based on your vehicles chassis number or registration may not work, these include:

At Radio-Code, we provide stereo codes based on the unique serial number of your car radio, regardless of what it was fitted to originally.  Our stereo codes have proven to be more accurate than main dealer's because of this.

What our customers have to say...

Hi, Worked a treat. Many Thanks.. jim toner

Great service. I only wish I had tried you before. The Sony burst into life as soon as I entered the code number given by your site. If I ever lose another code, yo will be the first to go to. . Frank Birchenough

I would like to thank you very much for successfully finding the radio code for my vehicle. Ford took the battery off when they serviced the vehicle. not having given me the code in the first place when the previous owner purchased the vehicle - from new - from Fords in Lincoln . They then had the cheek to say that they wanted 15.00 +VAT for finding my radio code. Many Thanks and will be recommending your site again. Regards . Steve Walker

A quick note of thanks for your service.......yeak I know I paid but the fiver was worth it! My wife's beloved 1997 Fiesta Ghia had a minor job done at a local garage who disconnected the battery! We had mislaid our service manual with the radio code. Removal tools came from a metal coat hanger and I think the total time from cutting the coat hanger, sending the code, paying by PayPal, resetting the radio and locking the car took no more than 3 minutes!!! .
