do not take the serial from a user guideNever take the serial number from any printed paperwork or user guides, since this may not match the actual Skoda radio fitted to the car.  Instead, take the serial number from either a label or an engraving on the top or side of your Skoda stereo, to ensure the supplied Skoda radio code is accurate.

Additional information about Skoda radio codes and decoding

Using our Skoda radio code service, you will not only be saving yourself money, but also the additional time which can be involved in trying to get your code from a vehicle main dealer. Most main dealers will request that you first book in your car with them, along with having to take proof of ownership along before they apply for the Skoda code.
Under most circumastances the code they supply will be derived frome either the vehicle registration or the Chassis number. If the radio has been replaced at any stage in its lifetime, this will be the incorrect code.

There are a various reasons why a radio code based on the vehicle chassis number or registration may not work, these include:

At Radio-Code, we provide stereo codes based on the unique serial number of your unit.  Our radio codes have proven to be more accurate because of this.

What our customers have to say...

I'm astounded! I removed my ford radio last year to use a different one and when I went to put it back to sell my car I realised I didn't have the code. Thought it would be a nightmare to get it off Ford who would charge me a fortune. I did a quick search on the net and your company came up. I was a bit dubious, but put serial number in and bought the code. It worked immediately! Very impressed, thank you. Only took me two minutes. I'll recommend you to others. . Karl.

Sam, You know I really thought I had just burned money by paying for a code with your company. I was actually very surprised to see your email this morning and amused by the code and your explanation of what I would have to do. I still had my doubts it would work. Guess what, it did work. You guys are awesome and I will pass your site onto others in my trade group as for being an option for unretrievable codes in the future. Of note the local dealer could not get me this code and this is why I went looking. Once again thanks for renewing my faith in people and companies on line.. Trent Cole

thank you for your info on radio code entry - nothing in the manual about it , but your site was a big help -cheers. Emma Holland

Hi Just wanted to say many thanks !!! You run a fantastic service and my code worked first time. It's nice to deal with a company that doesn't rip you off,and offers a excellent service. Many Thanks. Happy Xmas !!!!!. Jonathan Sillett

hi just quick thank you note, the code you supplied worked perfectly.the radio was sold as having a code, but was given as 1707 as you know codes only contain numbers 1-6 so there is no way of inputting a 0 or 7. also the radio was on an error 6 message,so I only had one entry attempt available. if I got it wrong the unit would lock up.best regards.
