We are able provide you with the original manufacturers security code required to activate your Mercedes car radio after power loss.
Its fast and easy to obtain the radio code for your Mercedes stereo, simply follow the 3 simple steps on the right.
Never take the serial number from any printed paperwork or user guides, since this may not match the actual Mercedes radio fitted to the car. Instead, take the serial number from either a label or an engraving on the top or side of your Mercedes stereo, to ensure the supplied Mercedes radio code is accurate.
Once you receive the code, you can use our Free Radio Code Entry Help section to assist you with entering the code.
Mercedes car radios will normally contain a 14 digit serial number which can be found either printed on a label or engraved on the side of the unit.
These serials are only visible once the Mercedes radio has been removed from the vehicle.
Examples of serials include:
Using our Mercedes stereo decoding system, you are not only saving money, but also time and the hassle which is involved.
Most vehicle main dealers require you to book in your vehicle and take the car and proof of ownership along before they apply for the radio code.
Usually the code will be based on your vehicle registration or Chassis number which can mean you are not getting the code for the current unit fitted to the car, especially if the radio has been replaced at any stage in its lifetime.
There are a number of reasons why a radio code based on the vehicles chassis number or registration may not work, these include:
At Radio-Code, we provide stereo codes based on the unique serial number of the car radio, regardless of what it was fitted to originally. Our stereo codes have proven to be more accurate than main dealer's because of this.
To whom it may concern - Just want to thank you for obtaining me the code for my Citroen. After speaking to one of your advisors, I was also provided alternative codes for my radio, as I could not read the last digit properly. I provided the original request from the SN and with this I was unable to input my code, so after checking again with the serial number, I was then prompted with an alternative code. After waiting for the radio to re-set itself, I was then able to have another go of inputting the alternative code. From this, I am now able to listen to my music in the car. Thanks a lot SWS for the understanding of lost codes for us car users around the UK Regards Jay.. Jay.
