Having replaced the battery on my Focus, them found that there was no radio code in any of the original sales documentation. Ford wanted £20 to get the code, which considering they had not supplied in the first place is a cheek. Once I found the serial no. then went on line to ASW and typed in the no. got a reply within a few seconds. Went out to the car inserted the code and bingo. How to Decode your Car Radio

By using our online Honda radio decoding service, you not only save yourself money, but also time and the additional hassle involved. Most vehicle main dealers will require you to book an appointment and take the car and paperwork (v5 logbook) into them before they apply for the radio code.   Once they do apply for the code, 9/10 times it will be based on your vehicle registration or VIN number of the car itself, which is fine if you have owned the car from new.
