I had an old 80's Ford Stereo that had been sat unused in the garage for 15 years. Managed to power it up but code locked out. Googled these guys but was very sceptical. Having replaced the battery on my Focus, them found that there was no radio code in any of the original sales documentation. Ford wanted £20 to get the code, which considering they had not supplied in the first place is a cheek. Once I found the serial no. then went on line to ASW and typed in the no. got a reply within a few seconds. Went out to the car inserted the code and bingo. How to Decode your Car Radio

Ford FIC Serial Number's

Ford FIC car radios will normally contain a 9 digit serial number which can be found either printed on a label or engraved on the side of the unit.

These serials are only visible once the Ford FIC radio has been removed from the vehicle.
