Alpine car radios will normally contain a 14 digit serial number which can be found either printed on a label or engraved on the side of the unit.

Just a note to thank you for your superb service yesterday. Having (mistakenly!) gone to one of your competitors for a code for my Becker radio I was sold a code number, which did not work.
