Having replaced the battery on my Focus, them found that there was no radio code in any of the original sales documentation. Ford wanted £20 to get the code, which considering they had not supplied in the first place is a cheek. Once I found the serial no. then went on line to ASW and typed in the no. got a reply within a few seconds. Went out to the car inserted the code and bingo. Excellent service and for a quarter of the price. Well done. Thanks

Additional information about Alpine radio codes and decoding

Using our Alpine stereo code service, you will not only be saving yourself money, but also the additional time which can be involved in trying to get your code from a vehicle main dealer. Under most circumastances the code they supply will be derived frome either the vehicle registration or the Chassis number. If the radio has been replaced at any stage in its lifetime, this will be the incorrect code.

There are a various reasons why a stereo code based on the vehicle chassis number or registration may not work, these include:

At Radio-Code, we provide radio codes based on the unique serial number of your unit.  Our stereo codes have proven to be more accurate because of this.
