Below are the instructions we hold for entering the code into your Ford 2040 CD - Sony car radio.

Code Entry Instructions
After switching on the unit the display shows ' - - - - '. Enter the code by;
Use [>>] to enter the first digit
Use [SCAN] to enter the second digit
Use [PLAY/STOP] to enter the third digit
Use [<<] for the fourth digit
To save the code press the [SHUFFLE] button.
The display will now clear until a disc is inserted.
The set will now operate.

Having replaced the battery on my Focus, them found that there was no radio code in any of the original sales documentation. Ford wanted £20 to get the code, which considering they had not supplied in the first place is a cheek. Once I found the serial no. then went on line to ASW and typed in the no. got a reply within a few seconds. Went out to the car inserted the code and bingo. Excellent service and for a quarter of the price. Well done. Thanks
