Location of Serial No. on Smart Stereos

do not take the serial from a user guideNever take the serial number from any printed paperwork or user guides, since this may not match the actual Smart radio fitted to the car.  Instead, take the serial number from either a label or an engraving on the top or side of your Smart stereo, to ensure the supplied Smart radio code is accurate.

Further information on decoding your Smart car radio.

Using our Smart radio decoding system, you are not only saving money, but also time and the hassle which is involved. Most vehicle main dealers require you to book in your vehicle and take the car and proof of ownership along before they apply for the radio code.
Usually the code will be based on your vehicle registration or Chassis number which can mean you are not getting the code for the current unit fitted to the car, especially if the radio has been replaced at any stage in its lifetime.

There are a number of reasons why a stereo code based on the vehicles chassis number or registration may not work, these include:

At Radio-Code, we provide radio codes based on the unique serial number of the car radio, regardless of what it was fitted to originally.  Our radio codes have proven to be more accurate than main dealer's because of this.

What our customers have to say...

Thanks very much for my code. Your service was spot on and I was well impressed. I will certainly recommend and remember you in the future regards. Gary Massey

Great service! Code received. As 'instant' as it says on the tin! Even more importantly - it works! Good value, even at the new price. The hints on how to enter the code also much appreciated, as no manual to hand. My 11-year old BMW is now restored to 'as original' condition with a proper BMW Radio/CD to replace the nasty after-market unit a previous owner had added. The guy who sold me the BMW/Blaupunkt unit reckoned it didn't need a code. I think he was confusing 'radio code' with the item being 'coded' (in BMW speak) to the vehicle, as some later BMWs have. I was sceptical, but went ahead with the purchase anyway. Without your system, the purchase would have been wasted, or a very expensive trip to the dealer (who would probably just pop round the back and quickly go online to your site anyway!). Thanks. Pleasure to be a customer with you. Real pleased I found your site. . Henry

Thank you very much. Your service is first class!! Regards. Walter Sharp

Dear Sam, Thank you for your prompt service, Radio working perfect, First Class Service, Kind Regards,. Robert Black

fantastic service saved me a lot of problems ta !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. m craigen

Thanks for the code you sent yesterday. I have been without music for a while as the previous owner did not pass on the code. Nissan main dealer could not help as 'it was too old'. The purchased code worked immediately. Excellent service and reasonable rates from you!. Alan Thomas
