Landrover Car Stereo Removal Help

To locate your serial number, the first step is removing your Landrover radio from the vehicle. This is an essential step for decoding Landrover radios online, as we provide your original Landrover radio code for your radio based on the serial number, unlike Landrover main dealers who use the registration or Chassis number. This means that our Landrover codes are more accurate, especially if its a second hand car where the Landrover radio may have been replaced either under warranty or by a previous owner.

1. Simply insert the removal tools or equivalent into the two or four slots to in the corners of the Landrover radio as illustrated.
2. Most require you to push the tools away from your radio
3. The radio should easily pull out without using too much force.

Once you have successfully removed your car radio, Locate the serial number by inspecting the top and right hand side of the radio.

Before getting a code we recommend you first ensure your radio is not blocked. Simply turn the radio on, and try to enter the first digit of any code "ONLY THE FIRST DIGIT" If this is ok, immediatly turn the radio off. If you find however that you are unable to enter any digits, leave your radio powered up for 1 hour continuously to reset itself.

Whilst you have it removed also check for any labells such as Repaired... Exchange.. and check that labels such as Warranty Void if Removed are in-tact.
