Press preset [ 2 ] repeatedly for the second digit
Press preset [ 3 ] repeatedly for the third digit
Press preset [ 4 ] repeatedly for the fourth digit
Press the [ AS ] key to accept. The set will now operate.

Having replaced the battery on my Focus, them found that there was no radio code in any of the original sales documentation.
