do not take the serial from a user guideNever take the serial number from any printed paperwork or user guides, since this may not match the actual Nissan radio fitted to the car.  Instead, take the serial number from either a label or an engraving on the top or side of your Nissan stereo, to ensure the supplied Nissan radio code is accurate.

By using our online Nissan stereo decoding service, you not only save yourself money, but also time and the additional hassle involved. Most vehicle main dealers will require you to book an appointment and take the car and paperwork (v5 logbook) into them before they apply for the radio code.   Once they do apply for the code, 9/10 times it will be based on your vehicle registration or VIN number of the car itself, which is fine if you have owned the car from new. However, receiving the stereo code days later only to find that it did not work is yet another inconvenience.

There are a number of reasons why a radio code based on the vehicle registration or vin number may not work, including:

At Radio-Code, we don't provide stereo codes based on the car, instead we provide the code based on the individual and unique serial number of the car radio, regardless of what it was fitted to originally.  Our stereo codes have proven to be more accurate than main dealer's because of this.

What our customers have to say...

Hello, I just wanted to say a massive thank you for providing my radio code. I left my lights on and had a flat battery which made me call out the AA to get me running again , then after I tried my radio it asked for the code I was confused until I came across your website. it was so easy to use and was so very reasonably priced, I removed the radio got my serial number and then in less than five minutes had my code from you, it went in strait away and my radio is back to normal. I had contacted ford who wanted me to book my car in for them to do it and receive a hefty bill. no thanks.. Radio code uk came to my rescue, 10 out 10 . what a great site .. thanks a million regards Steve Lindsey . Steve Lindsey

Thanks for the great service clear instructions no problems great result cheers . Geoff Walker

hi just quick thank you note, the code you supplied worked perfectly.the radio was sold as having a code, but was given as 1707 as you know codes only contain numbers 1-6 so there is no way of inputting a 0 or 7. also the radio was on an error 6 message,so I only had one entry attempt available. if I got it wrong the unit would lock up.best regards.
