Decoding your Kenwood KDC-M60216 in our Workshop
To take advantage of our workshop decoding service you will be required to send your complete Kenwood head unit into us. We ask that when doing so you package your radio appropriately in a small box with padding to protect any sensitive areas such as the front panel. Please do not send your radio in a padded envelope as the likely hood of it turning up on one piece is not a chance you should be willing to take.
When placing your order online, you will be taken to an order confirmation page on successful payment. Please make a note of your order number and send your radio through to us quoting as a reference.
Usual Workshop Decoding Time
Under most circumstances, your radio will be decoded within 1-3 working days, some units or circumstances may require additional time and we ask that you take this into consideration. When returning your radio, we always send via Royal Mail Recorded Deliver, so please bear in mind that a signature will be required to receive your radio back.
Kenwood KDC-M60216 Code Entry Instructions
After switching on the set the display will show 'KENWOOD' followed by 'CODE - - - -'
Enter the code by :
Pressing the [ FM/AM ] key to increment / decrement the first digit of the code, followed by the [>>] key then,
Pressing the [ FM/AM ] key to increment / decrement the second digit followed by [>>] then,
Pressing the [ FM/AM ] key to increment / decrement the third digit followed by [>>] then,
Pressing the [ FM/AM ] key to increment / decrement the fourth digit followed by [>>]
Then press and hold the [ >> ] key until 'APPROVED' is displayed.
The display will then show 'ALL OFF'.
Now press hte [SRC] key and the set will now switch on.
